Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Is Australia expensive for Indian students?

Q2. How much can I earn while studying in Australia?
Students can work 48 hours per fortnight during term and unlimited hours during breaks. Casual wages typically range AUD 23–30 per hour.
Q3. What is the 485 Post-Study Work Visa?
A temporary visa that lets graduates stay and work in Australia for 2–4 years (up to 6 years for regional study).
Q4. What is the Genuine Student Requirement (GSR)?
A statement showing you genuinely intend to study, not migrate. It covers your circumstances in India, course choice, and future plans. Our team helps you structure it.
Q5. Are regional Australian universities a good option?
Yes — extra 2 years of post-study work rights, lower costs, smaller classes, and more scholarships. Regional areas include most of NSW, Victoria (outside Melbourne), Queensland (outside Brisbane), and all of Tasmania.
Q6. How long does the student visa take?
Typically 4–8 weeks. We recommend applying at least 3 months before your intake.
